How can I use my Phase One digital back with the ALPA?
The ALPA is working with all actual digital backs. The Phase One backs are operating with a sleeping mode for minimizing heat and therefore potential noise. Right before the exposere they need a wake up signal. This is about to explain how this procedure is working with the ALPA. If your back has one of the following camera adaptations you can use your Phase One digital back together with the ALPA system. Our adapters for the above mentioned types of cameras are adjustable (plus/minus 3/10th mm) if the sensor is not correctly orientated or if you are using your back adjusted for a special focal flange distance.
Please note that your Phase One back needs a wake-up as the adaptation is mechanically only with the ALPA and make sure that your back is set to "large format mode" or what ever is applicable (see your Phase One manual).
You can perform this wake-up as follows:
Color Cast / Color Shift / Lens Cast Calibration: Please see attachment.
