ALPA de Suiza - Fabricante de cámaras de alta calidad

Why do ALPA cameras not need a manual?

ALPA cameras are designed to be as simple as possible. For the very same reason they are not cameras for beginners. Many of our cus-tomers say: “... from small-format to large-format I have used dozens of different cameras. But now I want an ALPA...” Result: the buyer of an ALPA knows what to do. A user manual is not needed. Whenever the user is in doubt, he or she will want to find the answers by him- or herself. Doing this will often lead to the discovery of possibilities that even we at ALPA have not yet thought of. To many, our reduction to the minimum will seem to be a shortcoming, but others see it as a victory over the complexity and sometimes tyranny of automation. Both are right: every photographer should use the camera that best fits his or her needs, preferences and talents.
