The French National Library in Paris is using an ALPA 12 XY for their digital large format copy work with stitching.
The BNF, reproduction department, is using the ALPA 12 XY cameras since 2007. Patrick Bramoullé, expert in digital technologies of the reprographic department, has contributed in 2008 a paper to the International Cartographic Association Commission, Digital Technologies in Cartographic Heritage: Workshop Digital approaches to cartographic heritage at the Cartographic Insitute of Catalunya in Barcelona, held 26 - 27 June 2008.
You can download the paper (in French) attached to this news. Please note that for copyright reasons printing and copying content is restricted.
