We introduce the exclusive ALPA eFinder Tools for the ALPA eFinder. This module adds two new tools:

• 3D level that can be used with ALPA cameras or any other camera. Recommended usage is in an ALPA iPhone Holder, but supports freehand use as well. It is a composite instrument that provides an artificial horizon-like pitch and roll indicator, a bubble level and a compass. Pitch and roll indicators and the bubble level can be calibrated for each device orientation to get the most precise measurements possible.
   
• Parallax correction and shift simulation for ALPA cameras. This tool requires an ALPA iPhone Holder hardware and the Pro edition or the Pro Pack module.

With the 3D level you are in the driving seat and level your camera with an artificial horizon for roll and pitch. Every 90 degrees one can user calibrate the setting with a custom preset if needed. Just press and hold for 1 second. Another 3 seconds of press and hold resets it to the standard. 

You would like to perform an overlapping pano for stitching? The build in compass readout in degrees allows a simple and easy pano sequence. Make it even more simple and zero out the reading for your first shot (calibration functionality) and perform your sequence of pictures counting up.

The parallax and shift simulation allows a simple and easy simulation and approximation of effects like

• parallax
• shift/rise/fall (depending on the ALPA model chosen)

The chosen frame corrections remain visible in the normal mode of the ALPA eFinder until undoing the settings.
