Today ALPA introduces a Photoshop® plug-in handling the residual distortion in ALPA wide angle and standard lenses. The tool is based on photogrammetrical principles and this part got developed together with the Institute of Geologial Science at the University of Bern.

On of the specialties of this tool is the ability to correct the image according to the movments (rise, fall, shift left/right and combinations) in order to get a correctly adjusted picture. The tool is able to model the complete (official) image circle of the lenses supported.

Being a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop® CS3/CS4 it is available for Mac OS X® as well as Microsoft Windows®. It is available through the official ALPA dealers and ALPA directly. The tool is completely for free but exclusively and discretionary for ALPA photographers! It is not planned to sell it or make it available for users of other brands.
